What Is "Landing Pad" Technology?

“Landing Pad” technology creates a predefined genomic docking site that enables rapid and precise insertion of therapeutic genes into engineered cells. Instead of rebuilding the entire knock-in workflow for every new genetic payload, researchers can reuse the established landing pad to efficiently add or exchange genes, saving time and reducing associated lab costs.

Rather than relying on random genomic integration, REPROCELL installs a reusable Landing Pad into validated genomic safe harbour loci such as AAVS1 and CLYBL. These sites support stable gene expression while minimizing disruption to endogenous cellular functions.

The result is a modular, plug-and-play engineering system that simplifies and accelerates development of advanced cell therapies while supporting consistent and reproducible gene expression.
