Ready to use GMP Mesenchymal Stem Cells

REPROCELL is your choice for high-quality GMP Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs, also called “Mesenchymal Stromal Cells”) provided in partnership with Cellcolabs in Solna, Sweden. Cellcolabs was founded to provide large quantities of GMP MSCs based on more than 20 years of stem cell research at the world-renowned Karolinska Institute, as described in more than 160 papers. The GMP MSCs isolated have been used in multiple clinical trials in Sweden and around the world.

In addition to their ability to differentiate into adipogenic (fat), chondrogenic (cartilage), and osteogenic (bone) lineages, MSCs have also had wide clinical interest because of their immune modulatory effects.

Some therapeutic areas where MSCs are being investigated:

  • GVHD (Graft vs host disease)
  • Alzheimer’s disease
  • Arthritis (RA and OA)
  • Stroke
  • Wound healing
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Type 1 diabetes
  • Systemic inflammatory diseases.
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Spinal cord injury
  • MS (multiple sclerosis)
  • Kidney injury
  • Osteoporosis
  • Bone healing

About the Cellcolabs GMP MSCs

  • The Bone Marrow donors are young healthy volunteers selected after an extensive screening process following regulatory requirements.
  • Isolated from Bone Marrow and are packaged in customizable vial sizes.
  • Expanded in Animal Component Free (ACF) media and cryopreserved at Passage 3.
  • Subject to extensive regulatory Quality Control (QC) processes.
  • Stored and delivered worldwide in liquid nitrogen.
  • Various Quality Documents (CoA, GMP permit, etc.), upon request.

Typical QC Assays:

  • MSC positive and negative marker expression by flow cytometry
  • Viability and morphology by visual microscopy
  • Sterility by Ph Eur 2.6.1 (Direct inoculation)
  • Mycoplasma by Ph Eur 2.6.7 (PCR)
  • Chromosomal stability by ISO15189 (Karyotyping)
  • Endotoxin by Ph Eur 2.6.15 (Gel-clot)
