Yokohama, Japan / Long Island City, NY – [September 28th,2026] — REPROCELL (Yokohama, Japan; TYO: 4978) and Polyphron, Inc. (Long Island City, NY) are pleased to announce their collaboration under which REPROCELL will supply its proprietary StemRNA™ iPSCs for use across Polyphron’s artificial human biology platform.
The collaboration brings together REPROCELL’s expertise in human iPSC technology with Polyphron’s AI-driven tissue manufacturing, autonomous experimental infrastructure, and tissue world models. By integrating donor-diverse human iPSCs into Polyphron’s platform, the companies aim to support the generation of longitudinal biological data that can be used to train and improve computational models of human tissue behavior.
REPROCELL’s StemRNA™ iPSCs are generated using proprietary, footprint-free StemRNA™ Reprogramming Technology and provide high-quality human iPSC materials for research and development applications. With iPSC lines derived from donors across diverse demographic and clinical backgrounds, REPROCELL’s portfolio provides a well-characterized source of human biological diversity to support Polyphron’s donor-diverse tissue models.
Polyphron will incorporate REPROCELL’s StemRNA™ iPSCs into its Tissue Testing Environments, which combine physical and simulated human biology in a closed-loop system.
Polyphron’s Tissue Foundry uses automated manufacturing and stem-cell biology to generate structured human tissues across donor backgrounds. Those tissues are exposed to controlled interventions and measured longitudinally using multiple biological readouts. The resulting tissue trajectories are used to train Polyphron’s Tissue World Models, which are designed to predict how tissue responds to genetic, chemical, biological, and environmental changes across donors.
By expanding the number and diversity of donor-derived iPSC lines available to the platform, the collaboration will support Polyphron’s efforts to model human biological variation at greater scale.
Polyphron is initially applying the platform to cardiac tissue, with liver following as an additional tissue system.
AI systems are becoming increasingly capable of generating biological hypotheses, therapeutic candidates, and experimental designs. However, the ability to generate new ideas is advancing faster than the ability to test them in human biology.
Polyphron is building a verification substrate for the AI-driven biology ecosystem. Its platform connects AI models directly to living human tissue: models can generate predictions, test those predictions in donor-diverse tissue, learn from the resulting longitudinal trajectories, and improve over time. The companies will explore applications across biological research and drug discovery, leveraging experimental data to improve computational models and generate new insights into human biology.
REPROCELL’s iPSC technology provides a source of well-characterized human biological diversity for this system. Through the collaboration, REPROCELL and Polyphron aim to support the generation of high-quality human tissue data for model training, evaluation, drug discovery, safety assessment, and broader biological research.
Polyphron’s platform ultimately aims to predict human responses before clinical trials begin, showing how interventions may perform across biological diversity and identifying the biological states most likely to respond.
