As a licensed worldwide distributor of BioThrust ComfyCell Incu products, REPROCELL now provides researchers with access to an innovative 300 mL single-use bioreactor system designed for intensified and scalable cultivation of sensitive cells.
Strengthening REPROCELL’s Cell Culture Technology Portfolio
The addition of the BioThrust ComfyCell Incu platform aligns with REPROCELL’s mission to support researchers with high-quality, human-relevant technologies across drug discovery, regenerative medicine, and cell therapy research.
The ComfyCell Incu system introduces membrane-based gas transfer technology that addresses common limitations of conventional bioreactors, such as low gas transfer efficiency and high shear forces associated with sparging or headspace aeration. By leveraging a proprietary Membrane Stirrer design, the system enables up to ten times higher gas transfer compared to traditional systems while maintaining gentle cultivation conditions for sensitive cell types.
The platform is particularly well suited for:
- 3D culture of iPSC spheroids
- Adherent cultures on carriers (e.g., MSCs, iPSCs, HEK cells)
- Suspension cultures of single cells, including NK and T cells
The motor-driven membrane system connects directly to the single-use vessel to drive internal membrane blades, while the integrated pump actively circulates incubator atmosphere through hollow fiber membranes for efficient aeration.
