Designed for the Alvetex® Advanced 3D tissue bioengineering system but useful for a wide variety of cell culture applications, our highly versatile Advanced deep plates 6 well give the researcher more flexibility by reducing the required number of culture media changes.
Supplied heat sealed in multiples of 5 plates each with lids (units are not individually wrapped).
Advanced deep plates 6 well needs to be paired with 6-well holder for Alvetex® Advanced modular inserts (AVP030 or AVP031), or Alvetex® Advanced insert holders (AVP023, AVP024, and/or AVP025).

Advanced deep plates 6 well can be paired with 6-well holder for Alvetex® Advanced modular inserts (AVP031), or Alvetex® Advanced insert handles (low, AVP023; medium, AVP024; and/or high, AVP025). Supplied heat sealed in multiples of 5 plates (not individually wrapped).
Alternatively, Alvetex Advanced inserts can be fitted into low (AVP023), medium (AVP024) or high (AVP025) handles for suspending the insert at different heights for use with different volumes of culture media.
Alternatively, inserts fitted in the low handle (AVP023) can be placed in different volumes of culture media for different purposes:
(i.) Media from below only – for cells grown in 3D at air-liquid interface
(ii.) Media from above and below – For routine 3D growth of cells with lower-average metabolic/proliferation rate OR for experiments where cells are incubated with test substrate in top chamber only for permeability investigations.
(iii.) Media interconnected – For routine 3D growth of cells with high metabolic/proliferation rate.
