The ComfyCell Incu Base unit contains a motor, a pump for aeration and LEDs for illumination. These provide consistent stirring & active aeration (leveraging an incubator atmosphere) of ComfyCell Incu 300mL disposable bioreactors.

The motor mechanically connects to the BioThrust ComfyCell Incu Single-Use Bioreactor 300mL (single cells/microcarriers, BT-INT-C-ISU-0.3-1 or spheroids/aggregates, BT-INT-C-ISU-0.3-2) from the top to drive the Membrane Stirrer inside the vessel. The pump is connected via silicone tubing to actively aerate the media with high efficiency by pushing the incubators atmosphere through the hollow fiber membrane blades.
