Job Title: Scientist

Summary of Position

REPROCELL invites applicants to join our Operations division in the role of Scientist/Study Director, managing and delivering contract research projects for clients in the pharmaceutical industry, using human tissue as a test system to predict the safety and effectiveness of potential new drugs. In addition to a pharmacology and/or physiology scientific background, report writing, data analysis and good communication skills are essential. 

Further training in REPROCELL’s in vitro pharmacology research, such as organ bath, myography and organoculture techniques will be provided.  Our laboratories operate seven days per week; therefore, flexible working is essential.  The company is a member of the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) program; experience within a GLP or GMP lab is advantageous, however training will be provided.

Qualifications: PhD qualification in pharmacology/physiology or a related discipline is required

Skills/Experience Required:

  • PhD qualification essential – preferably in pharmacology or physiology
  • Experience in lab-based pharmacology/physiology techniques such as organ baths (tissue baths/ wire or perfusion myography), Ussing chambers, organoculture, is highly advantageous
  • Experience within a GLP or commercial environment is advantageous

Job Title: Stem Cell Scientist

Summary of Position

REPROCELL invites applicants to join our Operations division in the role of Stem Cell Scientist, managing and delivering contract research projects for clients in the pharmaceutical industry, using human tissue and stem cells as test systems. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for the management and delivery of stem cell-based contract research services. In addition to a strong academic/laboratory-based stem cell research background; demonstrable report writing, data analysis and communication skills are essential.

The position will focus mainly on stem cell research services; however, the successful applicant will work across all areas of the lab-based drug discovery services business. Further training in REPROCELL Europe’s in vitro pharmacology services will be provided. REPROCELL Europe’s laboratories operate seven days per week, therefore flexible working is essential.

The company is a member of the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) programme. Experience within a GMP or GLP lab is highly advantageous; however, training will be provided.

  • Experience within a GMP, GLP or commercial environment is highly advantageous
