Introduction
Sorting is a technique that allows collecting the targeted cells only.
Based on this technique, it is possible to develop a new research phase using the targeted cells only.
Development of sorting
Principle
It is possible to isolate and collect only targeted cells based on the information obtained through FCM analysis.
A liquid drop is formed by applying oscillation on a jet flow nozzle with a piezoelectric element.
By charging the solution immediately before the formation of a liquid drop that includes the targeted cells, the liquid drop is charged.
Because the orbit of the drop falling from the nozzle is bent by a deflection plate, only the charged drops can be collected separately.
Applications
Cell purification:
- Purification of hematopoietic stem cell
- Fractional collection of each blood cell to minimize contamination for various types of experiments.
- Targeted collection of biocells expressing GPCR or cell membrane protein.
- Establishment of GPCR express cell line. (Dimer formation GPCR is also available.)
- Fractional collection of cells for chemical evaluation from primary culture cells after implementation of HTS by pharmaceutical companies. (Our products are delivered in culture flasks or multi-well plates.)
- Selection of organ-originated cells to establish ES cells, Functional cells derived from Primate ES cells.
- Gene expression by fractional collection of biocells using cell surface markers, and preparation of cells used for analysis of protein expression.
