bFGF is a critical component of human embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cell culture medium; the growth factor is necessary for the cells to remain in an undifferentiated state*. It is typically used at a concentration of 4-5 ng/ml for both feeder dependent and feeder free culture. ReproCELL bFGF is functionally tested to maintain pluripotency in stem cells. Store at -80 degC for long term storage. *: not necessary for all the cell lines |
